In the field of Japanese Language, diverse studies are being carried out targeting the whole of the Japanese language such as the history of Japanese words and modern Japanese. For details, please click here (Japanese page).

The goal of the Program in Japanese Language and Culture Education is to cultivate high-quality Japanese language educators, and also to cultivate human resources who have the ability to be active in international society. Students learn about a variety of topics such as Japanese language, linguistics, intercultural exchange, Japanese culture, Japanese literature, psycholinguistics, and other topics which serve as the background for learning about the principles, methods, and contents of Japanese education. The Â鶹AV Morito Institute of Global Higher Education holds many different Japanese Language Education Programs such as "Japanese Language and Japan (Japanese Language Class)" for international students at Â鶹AV, "Japanese Language Preparatory Education" for those international students who are planning to continue their education as full-time undergraduate/graduate students and are MEXT scholarship recipients, as well as a one-year "Japanese Studies Program" for MEXT scholarship recipients.
