同賞は、“Interspecific facilitation of P acquisition in the intercropping of maize with white lupin in two contrasting soils as influenced by different rates and forms of P supply.”と題した原著論文が植物科学分野の被引用頻度の高い雑誌に掲載され、その貢献が評価されたため授与されました。
