Assist. Prof. Ryota Hashimoto (Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering, Graduate School of Engineering, Â鶹AV) received the 2019 Maeda Prize in Engineering.
The Maeda Prize in Engineering is offered by the Maeda Engineering Foundation, which is meant to recognize academicians¡¯ outstanding research achievements in civil and construction field. This prize recognized the excellent academic, social and practical insights in Assist. Prof. Hashimoto¡¯s doctoral thesis ¡°Development of Stability Evaluation Methods for Soil-Masonry Structure Interactive Problems and Application to Historic Structures (awarding institution: Kyoto University)¡±.
