Assoc. Prof. Makoto Tsukai (Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering, Graduate School of Engineering, Â鶹AV) received the JCOMM Award.
The award was meant to recognize the work adopted to solve the urgency on traffic congestions and transportation methods in the torrential rains in western Japan; a TDM/TSM method was implemented rapidly and reliably. The method can be continually promoted for future disaster response.
