Teaching and Research in the Knowledge-Based Society-Historical and Comparative Perspectives," co-edited by Professor Futao Huang, Research Institute for Higher Education, and lead editor of the Higher Education Studies Course in the Educational Studies Program, has been published by Springer.



The book is part of the international collaboration on the ongoing international joint research project "The Academic Profession in the Knowledge-Based Society," launched in 2014. Currently, nearly 30 countries from Asia, Africa, Europe, North America, and South America are participating in the project.



In addition to Prof. Futao HUANG, Prof. Tsukasa DAIZENI and Associate Prof. Yangson KIM (both in charge of the Higher Education course of the Education Program) also wrote one of the chapters (pp. 77-95) in the book.
