We train talent who combine economics and management expertise or practical experience with knowledge of mathematics, data science and AI to contribute to the sophistication of economic activity, business innovation and the resolution of social issues. Specifically, we train digital strategists who can plan digital strategies to innovate business operations within organizations, data scientists who solve practical problems through data analysis, AI/digital planners who plan products and services using AI and digital tools, talent who can utilize potential data for their own businesses, and talent who have on-site knowledge and basic AI knowledge to promote the introduction of AI and digital transformation within their own companies. Based on the knowledge in economics and business administration, students will acquire a balanced combination of intellectual skills, such as programming skills and statistical and analytical abilities, and practical skills learned from practitioner faculty members who are involved in cutting-edge development and problem solving in the field. This will produce talent that can immediately contribute to the real world by using data science as a tool.
